If you are the parent of a toddler but want to include him or her in making the decorations this Halloween season and are looking for suitable Halloween crafts that you can make with your toddler, there are a number of crafts that are easy and fun and can help you bond with your little one. In addition, these crafts will also teach the toddler valuable skills that they will need when they finally go to school.

The handprint spiders are perhaps one of the most popular toddler Halloween crafts this season. All you need is black paint that is water soluble and a paper plate. Pour the paint onto another plate or in a pan. Place your toddlers hands flat into the pan of paint. All kids love this part. Ensure that the paint has covered the entire hand but do not let it get too gloppy. Then, place the child’s hand firmly onto the paper plate a little above the plate’s center. Make sure that all the fingers are splayed outwards. Now turn the plate upside down so that the print is at the bottom. Reapply paint on the toddlers hands and press down onto the plate in the same manner as before. Take care that the heels of the palms of both the prints match up with each other. After the paint dries up, paste some googly eyes. Pull a string through a hole punched at the top and hang it wherever you like.

The pumpkin seed wreath is another great Halloween craft that you can make with your toddler. Once you have your pumpkin carved, wash all the seeds and save them up. You can roast these seeds in your oven, sprinkle them with salt and eat them as a yummy treat. Apart from these, once the pumpkin seeds are dry, cut out a round in some orange construction paper and let your little one glue all the pumpkin seeds around the outer rim of the circle with all the pointed ends facing out. Once the outer row is finished, make another row inside it. Use any Halloween decoration to fill in the middle. You can glue candy corn, a witch from fun foam or just about anything that you can creatively come up with.

Search the internet inside out to find other toddler Halloween crafts that will be safe and fun to make with your toddler. Include your toddler in the decorations and let him or her know that there is always an excuse for making a fun craft.

Graduation Ceremony Songs and Rhymes

Music is the glue that holds together all activities in a preschool graduation party. If you get the selection of a March or party song right you can see the animation of the preschool children as they dance. However if you get it wrong the party can fall flat on its face and will not have the requisite vibrancy that is so crucial to getting the party started. This article will look at some of the things that you need to consider when choosing a song for your preschool graduate.

The first principle as always is the Montessori way of educating children which involves the use of the person’s unique qualities to create an education system that acknowledges their individual abilities and merits. Under this principle even the choice of a graduation song must involve the children themselves.

You will need to choose songs that fits the preschool graduates age group for which you are planning the ceremony. Preschool children have their own preferences for music whether it is pop or rock music. You will need to understand that what they are into at the moment. As a parent you might get quite surprised that you do not have a clue when it comes to the musical tastes of your preschool graduate. In fact some of them will enjoy the most appalling cheesy music ever but you have to take it in good spirit by understanding that this party is not about you but about your young graduate.

At the beginning of this article we have been talking about music for the party itself but there is also music that is required for the formal graduation ceremony itself. Sometimes the preschool itself will organize its own music or may ask the parents to contribute to the decision by way of a suggestion box method. If you are asked to give your opinion on what the music should be, you should take the opportunity. It might make the day more enjoyable for your child.

As for the preschools themselves, they are well advised to consult with parents and ensure that everyone has an opportunity to use the music that they enjoy. It might be a good idea to hire a brass band to help with the festivities or even other students might be involved.

Remember that the graduation even for a young toddler is a great event and they will want to be part of something that is fun for them but also something that they will never forget if you do it properly. A successful preschool graduation party should have everyone celebrating and having fun. By choosing the correct type of music, you will be giving your child the experience of a lifetime with the added benefit that you might also enjoy the experience.

One of the things that make Halloween so wonderful is that you can dress up, display Halloween crafts and scare all the folks you want in the spirit of fun. Decorating your home, car or office is the first step in setting the mood for Halloween and can be accomplished with just a little patience and some creativity.

There are some quick and easy ideas to consider when making your own Halloween decorations. The great part about Halloween crafts is that many of them are kid friendly and can be made with items you find around your home.

Tissue Ghosts

For example, one of my favorite crafts is tissue ghosts.  Just take a piece of Kleenex and gather it together so that you have a “bulb” at the top with the bottom splaying out – much like a ghost would look like!  Use a rubber band or a garbage bag twist tie to secure the bulb which is the head of your ghost.  Tie it tight!  Then

take a black magic marker and dot in eyes, a nose, and a mouth and you have a Kleenex ghost.  Make several of these to hang around your house, particularly in places where your family and friends would least expect to see them!

Egg Carton Bats

Another great idea for Halloween crafts involves a simple egg carton.  That’s right – you can turn an egg carton into a scary bat!  What you need to do is take three of the egg “cups” and separate them from the rest of the carton together so that they form a row.  The middle cup will be the bat face, the other two are the wings, so take a pair of scissors and cut out the front part of the cups to make wings.  If you have some “googly eyes” glue them on for a fun take, or you can simply draw a face on your bat. Then hang from a string or a rubber band and decorate the whole room with these fun and easy little bats.

Those are two ideas for Halloween crafts to get you started.  There are so many other great and easy ideas for Halloween crafts that you can try out. A good guide to keep you going is Easy Halloween Crafts.  Experiment around with these ideas to make some spooky or fun decorations that will make your home a Halloween haven with Halloween crafts that you have made yourself! Easy Ton Make Funny Halloween Costume Ideas

Halloween doesn’t have to be all scary and frightening to be enjoyable. It can also be interesting and hilarious, and what better way to put some entertainment in your Halloween experience than by having some friends over for a good old costume party. It can be very enjoyable seeing your friends’ different costumes and trying to figure out what they are dressed as. Equally as exciting is planning for your own costume. In doing so, you need not spend a hefty amount of money. You can make use of your creative skills and create your own costume. You can use your resources at home o make a unique costume and save yourself from spending for an expensive costume that looks just like anybody else’s. If you have no clue on where to begin, here are a few pointers to help you out.

If you have spare boxes a home, preferably those that could fit you, you can make use of them in making your costume. You actually need just one box. Put the box over you and cut a portion for your armholes. Have the box painted in the color you choose, preferably one that is bright. Then put a label that says “SOAP.” Tie on some white balloons at the upper portion of the box, near the part where your shoulders go. They would serve as the bubbles for your costume as a box of soap.

Another funny idea is to dress as a TV announcer. To do this, dig out some medium-sized box from your junk closet. Make sure it’s a clean one. Next, cut out a hole from is bottom part. Make sure it fits your head. Then cut a bigger square opening in the box’s front sort of resembling that of a television. Take a couple of pipe cleaners and place them as antennas. Then, get a few pieces of soda bottle caps and glue them as knobs. Wear the box over your head and pair it with an all black ensemble.

If you want a costume that is appealing to the stomach, try one that gets its inspiration from spaghetti and meatballs. The materials you will need are simple and easy-to-find – a roll of yarn, brown pompoms, old black sweat suits, and a colander. The ensemble basically takes no effort. All you need to do is glue strips of yarn along with the brown pompoms on your black sweats, then, wear the colander over your head as a hat.

Still inspired from food, this costume requires you to throw on a white sheet and position if over your head. Make a hole so that your head can go through. Pain your face yellow and place a yellow head on your head. This makes you a fried egg.

Another effortless costume is achieved by tying an old sneaker over your head. Pair with pink-colored clothes. You can even paint your face pink for a better effect. This would make you a walking piece of gum.
