Sexy Costumes for Adults – Halloween not Just for Kids

Halloween has been around for as long as anyone can remember and it has always been one of the many holidays that we all look forward to. One popular reason is because we know our children will be super excited to get loads of candy and visit everyone around the neighborhood. Many adults have thought after a certain age they are just past the limit for dressing up. You couldn’t be more wrong!

When most people think of Halloween they think of little children running all around the town, going from door to door for candy. All children look forward to this holiday just for that reason. It’s a great way to spend time with your family and friends, and get free candy at the same time. Although Halloween has came a long way since it first came about. Halloween has now become a holiday that is enjoyable for both the young and the young at heart. Now, instead of having the traditional scary witch or goblin outfits, adults choose to go for the more sexy costumes like a maid or even a playboy bunny.

Whether you attend college or you are married with kids, you too can be included in the Halloween fun. For young adults attending college and working to pay that high fee, letting loose on Halloween night may be a great stress reliever for you. Maybe you are married and have children to take care of, and the stress of your job is just weighing you down. Well, on Halloween you can be whatever you want to be. Perhaps a sexy french maid, or maybe a naughty nurse, whatever your ideas may be, there’s almost any adult costumes available online that you can think of.

Another great idea, if you are a parent, is to have matching costumes for you and your child. Perhaps your child wants to go as doctor, you can join in on the fun while walking around trick or treating and go as a patient. There are endless ways to have fun on Halloween, no matter your age. Maybe you’ve hit 50 and you think you are just too old to dress up for Halloween parties. Wrong! For jokes, you could go as a senile old man or woman. If you are comfortable in any situation, you could also try dressing up as an old fart, which could also be a hilarious way to make everyone look at you.

Whatever your choice for a costume may be, you can always think of something, or search it on the Internet. Just remember that Halloween is fun for all age groups, and is a great release from your average day-to-day lifestyle. Dressing up for Halloween allows you to pretend you are someone else for a day. So don’t be shy! Talk it up at the party and show everyone your wild side.

Ideas for a Kids Halloween Party

Well, the time has come again. We’ve hit the end of August, so summer is over and I guess my son feels he needs to have something to look forward to. And that’s not going back to school. So as we sit and chat about what we are going to do the last couple of days before school starts, he pops up with, “mommy, can I have another Halloween party this year. Yes, you heard me right, he is already asking about Halloween. On one hand I can’t believe what I’m hearing, however, on the other hand I too love Halloween. Actually our whole family loves Halloween. My two kids actually talk about what they are going to ware throughout the whole year. And as soon as the stores come out with Halloween stuff we’re there.Back to the party, I say “ok lets have a Halloween party”. We sit down and make a list of guests. I’m fortunate as a lot of my sons friends, their parents are friends of mine, so I get have have a little party of my own as well. And some help as well. Once we have our list done, we talk about the costumes. We have to have this little talk, as we had a Halloween party two years ago, and a lot of the little guests wore costumes that had accessories with them. And as we all know, the accessoies these days may not be appropriate to have at a kids Halloween party with 20 of them running around. So I say “there will be no kind of weapons allowed” and of course I get the ahhhhhhh. But that’s where it ends. We talk about what we should have to eat and drink and decorations. OH decorations now that is the fun part. Now we can hardly wait until the end of September. We’ll make up same invitations, or you can buy them, and well give them out to the guests. We’ll decorate the house the last weekend is September. Yes, I said “We’ll” the whole family gets involved, it’s actually turns into a great day, you’re spending time together and preparing for something that you all enjoy. I know you’re probably thinking on my gosh that’s early. My feeling is, if you’re going to take all that time to decorate you should enjoy it for awhile. So out comes the decorations for inside the house and out. Oh yes, you have to decorate the outside as well. That’s one of the best parts. When the day arrives we’ll have some kid appropriate music, some yummy “scary” snacks, and games to play. I’ll only plan a few things for them to do, because as we all know, they’ll just want to hang out and make their own fun. We’ll have pizza, and blood punch (any kind of red juice) with Jello hands and eyeballs floating in it. Cup cakes that look like spiders, and just the usually Halloween candy. I’ll try to make it easy, in reality at this point my kids don’t really care about what they eat, they just want their friends around. Now for me and my friends. We care about the food, so I’ll make some delicious appetizers, such as my Cheddar Bacon Dip. One thing is for sure, your kids will remember your Halloween party for years to come.

Got Fright? Kids’ Halloween Party Ideas

Looking for a fun – and safe – way to celebrate Halloween with your children? Try throwing a Halloween party, loaded with lots of fun games!

There’s no better way to celebrate Halloween than throwing a party for your children and their friends! But how will you keep them busy? Try some of these classic Halloween party games – or invent a few of your own! These are great ideas for classroom use as well.

Wrap the Mummy
Divide the children into groups of three to five kids. Select one child in each group to be a mummy. Then give the other children a roll of toilet paper or crepe paper. Have them wrap the mummy with the paper, leaving the eyes, nose and mouth uncovered. The first group to finish (using the entire roll of paper) wins.

Pass the Pumpkin
This game is very similar to “hot potato”. Have the kids sit on the floor in a circle. Give them a small pumpkin to pass around. Play Halloween music as they pass the pumpkin. Stop the music at irregular intervals, and whoever is holding the pumpkin is out. The game continues until one person is left with the pumpkin.

Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin
Make a large cardboard pumpkin and secure it to a wall. Taking turns, blindfold each child and give them a cutout shape of a nose, prepared with double-side tape on the back. Spin the blindfolded child three times, then have them try to pin the nose on the pumpkin.

Pumpkin Penny Toss
Carve out a large pumpkin, leaving a wide opening at the top (or use a plastic pumpkin). Give each child a handful of pennies. Have them stand an appropriate distance from the pumpkin and try to toss the pennies in, one at a time. For each penny that makes it in, give the child a piece of Halloween candy or other small treat.

Ghost Waiter

Prior to the party, set up a simple obstacle course. Divide the children into two or three teams. Taking turns, each child has to balance a balloon on a paper plate while walking it down the obstacle course and back to their team. (Have one child from each team begin at the same time). The first team to have all members complete the obstacle course wins.

Get your child’s Halloween party started (at home or at school) with these classic games – and get ready for everyone involved to have a howling good time!
